The very beginning of your career path is applying for an open position and conducting an interview. If offered a position you must pass a background check, drug screen, and physical.

After passing the background check, drug screen, and physical, your first day on the job is safety training. Safety is a big part of our core values, and it is reinforced at the beginning of your career path

After your first day of safety training is completed, your second day on the job is where the fun begins. This is when you will begin training for the position you were hired to fill.

Cross training on other positions is vitally important, not just to you, but to us. The more versatile you are, the more likely you are to continue your career path toward leadership with GMI.

30-day attendance evaluation with wage increase for perfect attendance

Our Process

Our initial hiring meeting will be over the phone. After this, an in person interview will take place to walk you through the job title, responsibilities and show you the site. From there, we will extend an offer if all goes well.
